The Choke & Chamber Tool has been designed for those of you with removable chokes and don't want the hassle of disassembling the hand kit. This also doubles as a chamber cleaning tool and can also be used as a mini Hand Kit that can be used from both ends to clean the full length of the barrels. The Choke & Chamber tool is designed to be taken with you to a shoot and kept in the back of the car. It is recommended that you use the Choke & Chamber tool, every time after you have finished shooting.

The Choke & Chamber Tool comprises of an ergonomic aluminium handle which is designed to fit snugly into a plastic tube. The plastic tube has an end cap and is designed to keep all dirty components contained. The Choke & Chamber Tool comprises of 1 material covered rod and a specially designed extra long brush for optimal cleaning of the barrels with minimum effort. The brush and the material covered rod are classed as consumable parts and are replaceable items. The handle has a push fit plastic bush on the end which protects the gun parts from the aluminium handle. The rods are 100% covered by material so that no metal parts can come into contact with the gun being cleaned. The brush has a unique plastic cap which is designed to stop metal contacting the gun.

 

How to Use

It is recommended to use the Magic Bore Hand Kit first to clean the barrels. If you have any stubborn fouling left in the chamber or cartridge seat then spray the Magic Bore Bore Oil down each barrel and leave to work for a few minutes. Remove the Choke & Chamber Tool from its tube and place the  brush, in the centre of the one of the barrels. Next push and pull the Choke & Chamber Tool in and out of the barrel several times to remove the rest of the debris. If you do this fast enough it is possible to remove all fouling. Repeat this for the other barrel if using a double barrelled gun. If using as a Hand Kit hold the barrels at the muzzle end and insert the cleaning tool from this end to clean the full length of the barrels. Now repeat the back an forth movements rapidly until all traces have been removed. Now remove the Chokes and hold them inside a rag with both ends clear of the rag. Hold the Choke & Chamber Tool in one hand and the choke in the other and run the choke over the brush and rod as many times as necessary to get it clean. Repeat for all chokes. The threads inside the barrels can also now be cleaned using the Choke & Chamber Tool with the chokes removed. Before reinserting the chokes apply some choke grease to the threads on the chokes and wipe clean any residue once inserted and tight. Replace the Choke & Chamber Tool in its tube. This clean is perfect for when you are shooting in the field or at a clay ground. If you are not able to remove all of the plastic fouling this way then use the drill kit as per the instructions on the drill kit page.

Cleaning Chokes
You can clean your removable chokes in the same way. Every part is interchangeable between the two kits so you can attach the brush directly to the handle or have one rod and the brush and clean your chokes in your preferred way. I use one rod and the hand kit brush attached to the handle. Holding the choke in one hand and the handle in the other pull the choke tube up and down the brush and onto the material covered rod. If there is any plastic fouling use the drill kit in the same way. This will clean all of your chokes very quickly.

- use other any other components other than official Magic Bore® supplied parts. There is no guarantee that those parts will work with the kit. 

- use any rods where the material has come unattached The rod needs to be fully covered to protect guns from metal contact. If this happens order a replacement. 

- use the Hand Kit if the plastic bush on the handle is missing or damaged.

The material covered rods are compatible with cleaning fluids, solvents and oils. No other mops are made to this specification, They are made from the best cleaning material available on the market today and use the highest specification adhesive to attach them to the solid aluminium rods. They are also washable. 
The brushes are custom designed to Magic Bore specifications and are only available on Magic Bore® Kits. They are of the highest quality and will not work with any other kit. They are extra-long and designed to work in conjunction with the material covered rods to remove all types of fouling including new bitumen fibre wad residue, fast. No other kit will do this let alone in under a minute! It is also the only kit that will remove plastic fouling also in under a minute. 

Both the Magic Bore® Hand Kits and Drill Kits enable you to remain completely clean at all times whilst cleaning your guns. No other kit or product does this. Magic Bore® kits are the only kits that have clever design features that protect your gun. Magic Bore® kits are the only kits that use brushes as well as a micro fibre mop let alone the best of every component available. They are also the only kits designed to last a lifetime and they are the only product that cleans the insides of barrels properly in under 2 minutes time after time. 

Other bore mops do not last, are cheaply made and you cannot use any cleaning oils or solvents with them. They are uncomfortable to use and not the same quality. You will get dirty using them and everything they touch will get dirty. They will not clean your gun properly and they will not last so you will need to keep replacing them. 

Modulus cleaning kits are a pain to use. You have to keep changing jags, brushes and mops and you get filthy doing so. They are not ergonomically designed and are uncomfortable to hold and use.
